Upperclassmen and student organizations help the newest Texans/TexAnns move into the residence halls.

Campus Offices Open

1:00 pm-4:00 pm
Location: Campus Wide

Various campus office will be open to assist you with last minute details: Advising Services, Financial Aid, Cashiers Office, Campus Store, Parking Office, Registrar, Scholarships, and Texan Card.

Passing of the Pen

4:00 pm-5:00 pm
Location: Fine Arts Auditorium

Coordinated by: Transition & Family Programs

Freshman and their parents are invited to participate in a special ceremony that will empower students to begin the next chapter of their lives.

Organizational Fair

5:00 pm-6:30 pm
Location: Heritage Park

Coordinated by: Student Activities & SWAT

Recognized student organizations will sponsor food/game booths and members will be on hand to visit with new students about becoming involved.

Traditions Rally & Back to School Picnic

6:00 pm-8:00 pm

Coordinated by: Transition & Family Programs & Dining Services

Join us for the annual Back to School Picnic for new students and upper classmen. Meet the spirit groups and sports teams and get immersed in Tarleton tradition. Rally begins 7 pm.

New Kids on the Block

10:00 pm-11:30 pm
Location: Dining Hall Patio
