TMATE Program Overview

The Tarleton Model for Accelerated Teacher Education - TMATE - has been in existence since 1986, with about 2,000 persons having earned their teaching credentials through this innovative program. TMATE is specially designed for adults who have previously earned their bachelor's degree and who now seek to make a career transition into the teaching profession.
