Sharing of Personal Information
Never share your personal information with your classmates or friends. Personal information includes the following:
- Social Security Number (SSN)
- Credit Card information
- Any unique identification numbers that you have been provided by Tarleton State University
- Usernames/Passwords
Not even my parents?
That's right. It is illegal to provide your parents with your Tarleton usernames/passwords. Why? Tarleton provides you with information specifically for your use as an enrolled student. Allowing anyone else to use your Tarleton accounts is fraud.
