Digital Signage
Digital signage is a great way to advertise for any on-campus open event that is hosted by a recognized student organization or campus department.
General Guidelines
Style: Digital signage slides should be attractive, appropriate, and brief.
Intended Use: Digital signage is intended for events or announcements that support the mission of Tarleton State University. The use of digital signage, like the use of any other University resource or activity, is subject to the normal requirements of legal and ethical behavior within the University community. Advertisement of commercial products or services on the digital signage system is prohibited.
Compliance: All users of digital signage must comply with all federal, state, and other applicable laws; all generally applicable University rules and policies; and all applicable contracts and license. Examples include, but are not limited to, the laws of accessibility, privacy, copyright, and trademark. Users are responsible for ascertaining, understanding, and complying with the laws, rules, policies, contracts, and licenses applicable to their particular uses.
Emergency Situations: In the event of an emergency, the Emergency Management Response Team (EMRT/ART) will assume responsibility for all monitors.

Photos are allowed as well as links to more information.
White backgrounds allow you to use more colors.
Bad Examples
Red backgrounds are reserved for emergency communication.
Content should be a readable font size and share only the most pertinent of information. Slides appear for a short time, so keep the text short and to the point.
Colors should contrast with the background to be easily viewable from a distance for the short period of time the content is aired.
Content should be easy to read; therefore, text should not flow vertically.
