Mathematics (Math 470 or 570)
Dates: 2012 TBA
This program will study the beginnings of modern mathematics in the surrounding where it all took place. It was in Greece that western society first began to have enough leisure time to study mathematics for its own sake. Many of the greats that we study and site today lived and worked in this area. Studying the greats of Greek mathematics will be elevated if you can be where they work and see what they did first hand.
