We stopped for a rest here- if you look in the distance you can see some snow.  Carrying that pack was like carrying some sort of vicious, wild animal on my back.  It was a pretty good pack (military surplus A.L.I.C.E.) but I had things arranged wrong in there so it fought me all the way.  The bluish thingie is my Camel Bak hydration system.  It carry's 50 oz. of water on your back and has a tube running within easy reach of your mouth.  It certainly beats carrying a water bottle...
