Student getting their Texan Card photo taken

Texan Card

Your Texan Card will get you into your residence hall, the Rec Center, all athletic games (for free) and much more.

Need a replacement?

Visit the Tarleton Center between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Your first card is free but lost, stolen or damaged cards can be replaced for $10.

Texan Bucks

Texan Bucks, currency that can be used on campus and at a list of off-campus retailers, can be deposited in person at the Texan Card office or online. Deposits can be made by students or their family and friends. All they need is the student’s university ID number.

Manage your Texan Card or make deposits.

Bookstore

Make sure you’re prepared for classes by ordering your textbooks ahead of time.

To order textbooks online, login to myGateway.

Select the online services tab and then select “order textbooks.” This will automatically review your courses and take you to a webpage that lists required course materials.

Parking On Campus

Time to order your parking permit!

You can order your parking permit through the parking portal using your NTNET credentials.

Confused about where to park?

Simply look at the color of your parking permit. Residential students (red permits) are able to park in red and green zones. Commuter students (purple permits) are able to park in purple and green zones. For more information about peak parking times, visit the parking website.

Avoid parking stress, ride the shuttle!

It’s free for all students. Shuttles stops include The Grove, Wolfe Nursery Road, Tennis Courts and Baseball Parking Lot. Shuttles run Monday-Thursday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Dining Services

Whether it's coffee before class or a late night snack from Chick-Fil-A, Tarleton Dining Services has you covered. Check out the Dining Services website for locations, hours of operation and other information.

Food Pantry

The only thing college students should have to worry about missing is class, not where their next meal is coming from. The Tarleton Food Pantry offers confidential and discreet service to Tarleton's Stephenville campus and is available anytime in the Thompson Student Center.

Housing

Maintenance requests

Have a burnt-out light or leaky sink in your residence hall? Make a maintenance request online through the Student Housing link in myGateway. If it’s an emergency, such as smoke, fire or water leaks, contact your lobby office or on-call residential leader as quickly as possible.

Reassignments

Need to request a housing reassignment? Call the main housing office number at 254-968-9083. Each request will be heard on a case by case basis.

Post Office

The on-campus post office is located on the main floor of the Thompson Student Center. Hours are Monday-Friday 8 a.m. - 4p.m. At this post office, you can buy stamps, money orders, mailing of packages and more.
