Poster Presentation Guidelines
Things to keep in mind when putting together your poster for the Symposium:
View the Evaluation form (Word file) so that you will know what the judges will be looking for in a quality presentation).
We will be using the hallways on the 2nd floor of the Science Building for poster presentations. Posters should be in landscape format and should not exceed 36 inches tall by 48 inches wide. (If you are planning on using your poster for the TAMUS Pathways Symposium in November, you should consider following their poster guidelines and suggestions).
Posters will be attached with double-sided poster tape designed for use on ceramic tile. All posters are to be attached only to the tile portion of the wall. The double-sided tape will be provided for your use at the Symposium. Please do NOT hang your poster without the help of a Symposium assistant.
The 2nd floor of the Science building will be available as of 8am on October 31st for participants to hang posters. There will be numbered tags on the wall designating where your particular poster should be displayed. A special poster tape will be provided to you for use in hanging your posters--do not use your own supplies. Please ask for assistance before you hang your poster.
If you need help printing a poster for the Symposium, Jared Ross, the Computer Lab Manager for the College of Science & Technology, can provide assistance. Mr. Ross is located in Rm 207D of the Science Bldg (Phone: 968-0790). Please view the Poster Printing Guidelines (PDF file) BEFORE making your poster.
