Fill the Field

SGA and TSU Athletics are sponsoring a charity drive to benefit Stephenville and surrounding communities’ charities. We are planning to literally fill the entire Memorial Stadium field with donated goods from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on March 31.

We are asking schools, businesses, churches, Tarleton organizations, and individuals from all over the Stephenville area to come donate and make this big dream a big reality that makes a difference in the lives of people in need.

What can you donate?

-          Water

-          Clothes

-          Non-perishable foods (dry pasta, grains, dried fruit, flour, etc)

-          Canned goods

-          Money¹

1 All money donated will be used to buy goods or will be given directly to local charities.

How can you donate?

-          SGA representatives will be coming around to your school, business, church, or organization to collect your information.

-          If you do not belong to one of these groups or an SGA representative has not contacted your group, contact SGA to sign up individually

-          The field will be sectioned off into Units (15’ x 15’) made of 4 smaller squares. A group can adopt either an entire unit or just one individual square – depending on how much you plan to donate.

-          Groups are encouraged to decorate their square² (company logo, church name, organization letters, etc.)

-          Then, gather all the goods you are willing to donate, and come to Memorial Stadium on March 31!

2 Because of the field's turf and safety precautions, there will be rules on how a group can decorate, i.e. no tent pegs or folding chairs on the field. Further information regarding these rules and precautions will be given at the time you choose to participate in Fill the Field.
