Amount: Typical award $1,000 per semester
Deadline: February 15th (fall) or December 1st (spring) - priority deadlines
Criteria: This scholarship is based on performance. Recipient must have a GPA of 3.0, music and theater majors are eligible. Recipients must be enrolled at Tarleton in 2nd consecutive full term in order to audition.

Clyde Wells Fine Arts Scholarship

Criteria: Recipients must major in art, music or theatre, maintain a 2.75 overall GPA and a 3.0 GPA in major.

Criteria: Recipient must be a TSU theatre student planning a career in theatre or educational theatre, must audition and be recommended by Head of Fine Arts Department, and must participate actively in theatre program during years receiving award.

Criteria: Recipient must be a deserving student in good academic standing who is interested in Drama at TSU.

Mary Jane Mingus Endowed Scholarship

Criteria: Recipient must maintain a 3.0 GPA in all Theater courses taken and an overall GPA of 2.75 or higher in all college work. Recipient must be a declared theater major who shows interest in the technical side of theater. This would include costumes, lighting, sound, and/or set design. Recipient should not be an actor/actress only.

Richard L. Thompson Endowed Scholarship
Amount: $3,750
Deadline: February 15th (fall) or December 1st (spring) - priority deadlines
Criteria: Recipients shall be full-time students majoring in Agriculture and Music. The scholarships will equal the sum of two semester's tuition and fees. The recipients shall have a minimum 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale and demonstrate financial need.

Speech/Drama Scholarship

Criteria: Recipient must major in Theatre and audition for scholarship. Recipient must be an active member in departmental productions and attend all stick calls for all productions. Recipient must maintain a 3.0 GPA in all theatre courses and a 2.50 overall GPA.
