Criteria:	This scholarship will be given to full-time, undergraduate students majoring in music (piano emphasis). Recipients must complete a successful piano audition, enroll in applied piano lessons, enroll in and make satisfactory progress in piano ensemble (if required by the piano professor), and be active in appropriate department performance opportunities. Recipients must also maintain a 3.0 GPA in all music courses, a 2.8 GPA overall, and maintain exemplary attendance and participation record in music classes and music major requirements.

Clyde Wells Fine Arts Scholarship

Criteria:	This scholarship will be given to students majoring in art, music or theatre. Recipients must maintain a 2.50 overall GPA and a 3.0 GPA in major courses.

Donald W. & Dahlee Morton Endowed Piano Scholarship

Criteria:	This scholarship will be given to full-time students with a declared piano major after a successful piano audition. Recipients must remain enrolled in applied piano lessons, and be enrolled and making satisfactory progress in piano ensemble. Recipients must also maintain a 3.0 GPA in all music courses taken and a 2.8 overall GPA. The recipient must be active in appropriate department performance opportunities, and will be expected to maintain an exemplary attendance and participation record in music classes and music major requirements.

Dr. Marie Meisel Cedars Scholarship

Deadline:	February 15th (fall/academic year) or December 1st (spring) - priority deadlines
Criteria:	This scholarship is given to students based on art performance, academic merit and leadership skills. Established in 2001 by the friends and family of Dr. Cedars. Dr. Cedars was a member of the faculty at Tarleton for many years as a French instructor and was an accomplished artist. Dr. Cedars' group of twelve paintings based on the book "6 Day of Destruction" by Elie Wiesel, an Auschwitz survivor, and Rabbi Albert H. Friedlander, who fled Germany in 1939, has been displayed in New York galleries and many other major cities across the United States. The collection features images from Biblical account of creation and Holocaust individual tragedies.

Ethel Lewallen Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Deadline:	February 15th (fall/academic year) or December 1st (spring) - priority deadlines
Criteria:	This scholarship will be given to a full-time student majoring in art with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Scholarship can be renewed for a maximum of five years. All applicants must complete the Financial Aid Form (FAFSA) to be considered for the scholarship.

International Piano Major Scholarship

Criteria:	The recipient shall be a full-time international student majoring in Piano who has demonstrated financial assistance in order to pursue his or her collegiate studies.

Lewallen Fine Arts Scholarship

Criteria:	This scholarship will be given to an art major. The recipient must maintain a 2.5 overall GPA, a 3.0 GPA in Art courses and satisfactory progress in studio.

Marguerite Landress Memorial Endowed Scholarship in Music

Amount:	Varies
Deadline:	February 15th (fall/academic year) or December 1st (spring) - priority deadlines
Criteria:	This scholarship will be given to a full-time music major (piano). Auditions shall include four pieces or movements, one each from the Baroque, Classical, Romantics, and Contemporary and a demonstration of sight reading ability.

McKee Jane Smith Endowed Memorial Scholarship

Criteria:	This scholarship will be given to a student of any classification majoring in art. The recipient must maintain a 2.5 overall GPA and a 3.0 GPA in art. The recipient will also be selected based on portfolio. Incoming freshmen meeting Tarleton State University admission requirements may also be considered.

Piano Performance

Criteria:	This scholarship will be given to full-time music majors (piano concentration). Recipients must enroll in applied piano lessons, piano ensemble (if required by piano professor), maintain a 3.0 GPA in all music courses and a 2.5 GPA overall. The recipient must also be active in appropriate department performance opportunities.

Sue Medlen Piano Scholarship

Criteria:	This scholarship will be given to full-time students majoring in music (piano). Recipients must have a 2.8 overall GPA, a 3.0 GPA in music courses, a successful piano audition, remain enrolled in applied piano lessons, enroll in piano ensemble (if required by the piano professor), maintain an exemplary attendance and participation record in music classes and music major requirements.

Visual Art Scholarship

Criteria:	This scholarship will be given to students majoring in art with satisfactory progress in studio. Recipients must a 2.50 overall GPA and 3.0 GPA in all art courses. No more than three absences per semester from art classes are allowed.
