Established in December 1995 by Mr. Paul Cunyus and family. Mr. Cunyus came to Tarleton in the early 1920s from his home in East Texas. He completed two years at John Tarleton Agriculture College majoring in Agriculture. Upon graduation he transferred to Texas A&M, where he received his bachelor and master degrees. After World War II he returned to Tarleton as the associate dean and served in that capacity for 25 years. He retired in the early 1970s. Mr. Cunyus passed away in 1996. His wife, Opal, preceded him in death. |
