STEPHENVILLE, Texas—Terry Pritchett, director of facilities and custodial services at Tarleton, was recently elected to serve as president of the Texas Association of Physical Plant Administrators.
Pritchett previously served as the organization’s vice president in 2012. He was selected to serve a one-year term as president at TAPPA’s annual conference held April 14-16, in South Padre Island.
“It is a humbling experience being elected president by my peers across the state,” said Pritchett, who joined the staff at Tarleton in 2008. “TAPPA represents over 175 colleges and universities, and it is truly an honor being chosen to promote proficiency and professionalism in Texas’ higher education facilities management operations.”
Prior to being elected to serve as an officer for TAPPA’s board of directors, Pritchett also served as one of 12 members on the board in 2010-2011.
