STEPHENVILLE, Texas—Founder’s Week, honoring Tarleton founder John Tarleton, continues this week with a number of events, from fun to solemn.

Major events include the first Founder’s Fun Run & Trivia Challenge at 6 p.m. today in Heritage Oaks Park. A May Fete Celebration hosted by the Tarleton Ambassadors will be Tuesday at 6:30 p.m., also in Heritage Oaks Park. On Wednesday, the Student Government Association will present a Presidential Picnic on the grounds of the Trogdon House. The annual Silver Taps ceremony in Heritage Oaks Park and Col. Tate Military Park will begin with a reception at 7:15 p.m. Thursday.
