STEPHENVILLE, Texas—Dr. Jeff W. Justice, assistant professor of political science, was elected as secretary of the Southwestern Social Sciences Association during its annual meeting March 26-29, 2013, in New Orleans.

The SSSA is the largest and oldest interdisciplinary association of its kind in the United States, encompassing political science, history, sociology, women’s studies, international studies, economics, psychology, and anthropology.

Dr. Justice completed concurrent terms as president of the international studies affiliate and as vice president and conference program chair for the political science affiliate at the annual meeting. On campus, he serves as the university’s Pre-Law adviser and is the director of the Scottish Studies study abroad program in political science, history, and environmental sciences.
