STEPHENVILLE, Texas—The Live Action Men’s Choir, a student choral group at Tarleton, will present their fall concert at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 2. The performance will be hosted by First Presbyterian Church, 1302 N. Harbin Dr. in Stephenville.

Admission is free and the community is invited to attend the performance, which will feature 15 student vocalists and guest conductors.

“This is going to be a great concert featuring a program full of diverse literature. The majority of the men in this ensemble are not vocal majors and have joined together to make beautiful music,” said Jeremy Bowen, a senior music education major who serves as the group’s pianist.

Selections include The Star Spangled Banner (barbershop version), Rise Up, O Men of God, Black is the Color of My True Love’s Hair, Shenandoah, Pirate Song, Sure on This Shining Night, Daemon Irrepit Callidus, Find the Cost of Freedom, and Noel. Each selection will be conducted by students who have enrolled in conducting courses at Tarleton.

A reception will follow the concert inside the church’s fellowship hall.
