ESPN to provide online coverage of Texan football this weekend

STEPHENVILLE, Texas—Tarleton Texan football fans unable to make the trip to Florence, Ala., for the team’s final road game of the 2012 regular season can follow the action online this Saturday thanks to coverage provided by ESPN.

The Texans (4-4, 4-3 LSC) will face North Alabama (5-3, 2-2) as part of the Lone Star Conference / Gulf South Conference First-and-10 Challenge. Kickoff between the Texans and Lions is set for 3 p.m. The game will air live to a national audience on the ESPN3.com network with Don Russell, Rick Rhoades and A.A. Moore providing commentary. The game can also be seen on the Watch ESPN mobile app.

Also providing coverage of this weekend’s game will be the Tarleton Athletics Radio Network, which can be found locally on 93.1 KSTV-FM, and can be livestreamed at www.tarletonsports.com.

The Texans return home next Saturday, Nov. 10, to face Angelo State in the regular season finale. It will be Military Appreciation Weekend, with a kickoff set for 7 p.m. at Tarleton Memorial Stadium.
