STEPHENVILLE, Texas—The Tarleton community will have a chance to explore Stephenville-area cuisine without leaving campus at the Culinary Tour of Stephenville during Howdy Week.

The event, hosted by the Department of Student Publications, will take place Tuesday, Aug. 28 from noon to 1:30 p.m. on the front lawn of the Barry B. Thompson Student Center.

Local restaurants will be handing out free samples of their food offerings ranging from pizza to Mexican. The eateries will also be giving out coupons, merchandise and other free goodies. The first 200 students to come through the Culinary Tour will receive a free gift bag.
