Tarleton offers condolences to those affected by Fort Hood tragedy

Tarleton State University extends its sympathy to those affected by the Nov. 5 tragedy at Fort Hood.

“The entire Tarleton family is saddened by the loss of life at Fort Hood,” said Tarleton President F. Dominic Dottavio. “Our hearts go out to the family and friends of those lost, as well as to all of the brave men and women who serve our country faithfully, each and every day.”

“The University remains committed to its students and former students in the Fort Hood area,” Dottavio said. “We are thankful that all of Tarleton’s ROTC cadets are safe and accounted for, including those stationed near the base.”
