“Crafty” tips for the savvy shopper

STEPHENVILLE, TEXAS—Eliminate your holiday stress this season by doing all your shopping in one place.
Preparations for the 16th Annual Holiday Arts and Crafts Showcase are under way. The showcase is set for Dec. 4 in Tarleton State University’s Thompson Student Center ballrooms from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
This is your chance to shop in the comfort of Tarleton’s ballrooms and support local artisans. All the tables have been sold, and vendors are preparing a wide array of items for sale. This year’s offerings include: Pampered Chef, Mary Kay, jewelry, Avon, Scentsy candles, wall crosses, homemade candy, custom sewing, fudge, western art, clothing, hand-carved wooden Santas, holiday decorations, local history books, yard birds made out of recycled metal parts and much, much more.
Proceeds from the sale of vendor tables supports Tarleton’s Staff Council Employee Scholarship program.
