Online Job Center Instructions for Students
Posting your resume online gives you the opportunity to search job listings posted by employers and school districts. Your resume is available to them 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It’s convenient and FREE.
Instructions for New Users
- Visit our web site at www.tarleton.edu/~careers, click on Current Students
- Under Employment Opportunities click on Online Job Center
- Click on Student Login
- For New Users, click on sign up for access
- Click on Current Tarleton Student Registration (will need to provide University ID)
- Enter bio information
- Click register
Uploading Resume
Resume must be in a rich text format (RTF)
(Note: To save as RTF: Open resume file in Word, click on “file” then “save as,” at the bottom of the box in “file name” name the document, go to “save as type”, scroll down to “rich text format” and save.)
- Click on Post Resume
- Click on browse button
- Find resume
- Click on submit
- You may have as many as 2 resumes in the system.
Instructions for Current Users (If you have already signed up for access)
- Click on Online Job Center
- Click on Student Login
- Enter email address (Does NOT need to be Tarleton email)
- Enter password (If you do not remember your password click on forgot your password, and enter your Student ID. Your password will be emailed to you.)
- Click Login
- Now you can update your bio information, search jobs, delete an old resume or add a new resume. Note: You can not make changes to your resume in the Online Job Center database. You must re-upload a new resume.
Instructions for Alumni
- Visit our web site at www.tarleton.edu/~careers, click on Alumni
- Under Employment Opportunities click on Online Job Center
- Click on Student Login
- For New Users, click on sign up for access
- Click on Tarleton Alumni Registration
- Enter bio information
- Click register
- You will receive email confirmation once you have been approved
