This one and a half hour training session is designed for individuals new to Tarleton’s budgeting process and will cover the following topics:

• Sources of funds
• Use of funds based on funding source
• Accessing account information using CANOPY
• Understanding budget reports
• Tracking expenditures
  • Purchase Orders
  • Procurement card
  • Interdepartmental charges
• Fund carryover to the next fiscal year

FAMIS access is required for this class. Please submit your request for access to FAMIS to DeAnna Powell by November 12 if you do not currently have access to FAMIS/CANOPY.
