The Department of Fine Arts presents the annual Tarleton Jazz Festival on Friday and Saturday, March 22 and 23. The festival will end with a guest artist concert on Saturday at 7:30 PM in the Auditorium of the Clyde H. Wells Fine Arts Center. For festival information, call Greg Ball at 254-968-9829.
This year's festival will feature guest artist Jeff Coffin, saxophonist with the Dave Matthew's Band and a three time Grammy winner as a member of the group Bela Fleck and the Flecktones. He will perform with the Tarleton Jazz Ensemble on Saturday night at 7:30. Jeff was recently featured on the cover of the October issue of Downbeat magazine.
