NEW STUDENT ACADEMIC ADVISING AND REGISTRATION

Spring 2010

  • New transfer students with less than 30 transferable hours and first-time freshman students will need to complete new student orientation prior to registering for spring courses.  Texas Success Initiative (TSI) requirements must be met prior to new student orientation Beginning December 2009 students will be contacted with additional information concerning new student orientation from Academic Advising Services.  Students may contact this at 254-968-9746, advising@tarleton.edu, or visit the Academic Advising Services website.
  • Transfer students with 30 or more transferable hours must meet with an academic advisor prior to registering for spring courses. 
    • Specifically, transfer students on the Stephenville campus with 30 or more but less than 45 transferable hours must meet with a Faculty Advisor in Academic Advising Services (Thompson Student Center, room 13).
    • All other transfer students with 30 or more transferable hours can locate their academic advisors by visiting the Academic Advising Services website or by contacting their office at 254-968-9746.  Students will need their university ID (UID) and pin number (default pin number is birthday MMDDYY) to access DuckTrax in order to register for courses.  Students who encounter problems with their UID and/or pin number should contact the Registrar's Office at 254-968-9121 or registrar@tarleton.edu.  For assistance in using DuckTrax, please visit the Registration & General Information website.

Summer 2010
