Things to know about Graduation

    • Spring 2009 graduation - November 15, 2008
    • Summer 2009 graduation - March 10, 2009
    • Fall 2009 graduation - April 14, 2009
  • The earlier graduation times give the student and advisor a chance to check out their degree evaluation so that the student can register for the courses they need to complete their degrees or initiate substitution forms.
  • Students need to fill out the Degree Checkout form and the Application for Graduation form. Both of these forms are accessible on the Registrar’s website. The Degree Checkout form is available both under Departmental Forms and Student Forms. The Application for Graduation form is available under Student forms.
  • Please submit course substitutions as the student takes the course. This will help the Registrar's office and speed up our degree checkout process.
  • If you receive an email from the Registrar's Office concerning substitutions for a student, please respond quickly.
  • Please be sure that the catalog year, the degree and concentration are the same as the original degree plan. If you are changing any of these you need to submit a Revised Degree Plan along with the substitution form. You also need to submit a revised degree plan if you are adding or deleting a minor.
