Banner General Information
Banner Proper - Database of student and class information.
DuckTrax - Web based view of the database Banner Proper.
Banner Proper
Username will be the same as your User Name for E-Mail and Log-on to the Computer. Password will be an 8-14 digit combination of Letters and/or Numbers.
(You will be given a password initially. This password is Case Sensitive. As soon as you enter your password Banner will tell you that your password has expired. Click Ok and then you will need to type that same password again on the first line where it says "Old Password". Then you will type a new password on the second and third lines after you type your old password. Make your password something easy for you to remember because you may go a few weeks at a time between uses in Banner. You can then disregard your old password and use your new password next time you log in to Banner. DuckTrax
Username will be your University ID Number (or Social Security Number).
Password will be a Six Digit Number.
(Your password initially is your 6-digit birthday. For example, if your birthday is December 31, 1972 then your initial password would be 123172. The very first time that you get into DuckTrax you will enter this password and then you will be asked to change your password. You will re-enter your old password on the first line and then create a new 6-digit number and type it on the second and third lines. The next time that you log in you will use your new password. If you need to have your password reset you can either come by the Registrar's Office or call 9417.)
Overview of Staff Training:
If you do not currently have access to Banner, please have your Supervisor contact Sharon Haynes at haynes@tarleton.edu to request that you get access to Banner. If you need access to SFASRPO and/or SWASECT please have your Supervisor request these screens specifically. Requests must be made in writing with your Name and UIN.
