Approval to Seek CACREP Accreditation
The administration of Tarleton has approved the department's initiative to seek accreditation of its counselor education programs (school counseling and community mental health counseling) from the Council for the Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP). The anticipated 3-year process toward accreditation demonstrates the university's commitment to provide the best training possible for future counselors.
