Advising Information

As a pre-nursing student, if you have more than 30 college hours, you should attend one of the advising sessions scheduled throughout the year.  Please schedule an appointment by contacting the nursing office at (254) 968-9139.

Once accepted into the program, you are required to meet with your assigned advisor each and every semester prior to registering for classes to remain eligible to continue in the nursing program.

Nursing faculty serve as advisors for both pre-nursing and nursing students.

Email advising is available for special circumstances. Please contact the nursing office for details.

Admission to the Nursing Program & Advisement

Application and admission to the nursing program is separate from and in addition to application and admission to the University. There is a $35.00 non-refundable processing fee for all nursing applications submitted.  All applicants must submit a Money Order or Cashier's Check for $35.00 to the Nursing Department with your nursing application.  We do not accept cash, personal checks or credit cards at this time.  Any applications received without the processing fee will not be processed.
