Welcome to the Marketing & Communications Department!

Offices Serving Institutional Advancement and the Campus

Graphics design / Publications

From brochures and pamphlets to journals and anthologies, we are available to help produce campus publications. We can transform your text and visuals into professionally designed print and electronic publications. We can also assist in the competitive bid print purchasing process and provide direction for presenting your message in print.

Media Relations

We work to promote and communicate Tarleton’s mission to both internal and external audiences through methods such as Web site postings, press releases, media pitches, the maintenance of an experts list and the management of interview requests. Our goal is to showcase Tarleton and to inform local, state and national audiences about our fantastic faculty, outstanding educational programs, innovative research projects and magnificent events that occur on our campus!

Advertising / Marketing / Communications

We can provide counsel on broad marketing strategies and tactics, focusing on how you fit into the larger picture and how your efforts can enhance that picture. Through bundling, you can sometimes reap cost and image benefits. We can help design your advertisement/marketing projects, along with giving you guidance on placements. We will ensure the messages being reached by our constituency base are consistent and effective.

We also want to publicize your department’s news on both Tarleton’s homepage and the newly created Tarleton Today, which is a one-stop-shopping site featuring university events, news, information and sports updates . We welcome items for placement in this site, on the homepage and in the calendar.

Langdon Cultural Center

The mission of the Dora Lee Langdon Cultural & Educational Center is to extend the reach of Tarleton State University by developing and maintaining relationships with a broader constituency, to enhance the public image of the University through quality cultural programs and to encourage life-long learning through community education opportunities.
