The Leadership Class of 2013 will be hosting a Recycle Awareness Day at Tarleton Memorial Stadium (West Parking Lot off Harbin St). The following items will be accepted: Newspaper/Paper, Aluminum Cans, Plastic, Metal/Iron, Tin Cans, Cardboard.

It's time for spring cleaning once again, and the city of Stephenville aims to make tossing out the old an easier task with its
Throwing electronics into the garbage bin is not the proper way to rid yourself of items that have broken or have become technologically out-dated.
The center will accept computers and their accessories, VCRs and DVRs, stereos and televisions. Dropping off CRT, or cathode ray tube, televisions will carry a $10 fee, and household appliances, including microwaves, will not be accepted.
Progressive Waste, formerly known as IESI, makes recycling a daily habit and accepts drop offs of newspaper, plastic and tin cans at their 1291 N. Bates location.
Drop off locales for Tarleton State University's recycling efforts are at the TSU Recycle Center on the College Farm Road and the Environmental Service Office at 511 N. Neblett. They accept paper, plastic, metal and various other items. Call 968-9708 for more information.
