Books, Documents, Reports, Journals Titles, AV Materials, Etc.

Tarleton State University Libraries Catalog -  Database of all items owned by Tarleton Libraries. Look here for books, government reports, journal titles, videos, CDs, etc.  Keyword searching is available.
Library of Texas - Search for Books and Articles from libraries located in Texas.  The Library of Texas lets you pick the library collections you search, helping you locate items near you.
WorldCat -  (FirstSearch Core)  Books and other materials in libraries worldwide. WorldCat contains more than 32 million records describing items owned by libraries around the world. If Tarleton does not own these items, they can be requested through Inter-Library Loan.

Databases and Journal articles

Access UN -- The Readex United Nations Index provides access to current and retrospective United Nations documents and publications.

Access World News - current and archived state, national and international full-text articles on issues, economic, business, government and world events

Business Source Complete -- (Ebsco) Provides access to business related journals covering topics in business, management, economics, finance, banking, and accounting. Business Source Complete contains content from full text sources ranging from general business periodicals such as Business Week, Forbes, Fortune, American Banker, etc. to academic journals such as Harvard Business Review, Journal of Management, Academy of Management Review, Review of Economics & Statistics, etc.

Business & Company Resource Center -- company profiles, brand information, rankings, investment reports, company histories, chronologies and periodicals. Search this database to find detailed company and industry news and information.

Dissertations and Theses - Full Text - The database includes bibliographic citations for materials ranging from the first U.S. dissertation, accepted in 1861, to those accepted as recently as last semester. Citations for dissertations published from 1980 forward also include 350-word abstracts written by the author. Citations for master's theses from 1988 forward include 150-word abstracts. The full text of more than one million of these titles is available in paper and microform formats. Institutional subscribers to ProQuest Dissertations and Theses - Full Text receive on-line access to the complete file of dissertations in digital format starting with titles published from 1997 forward.

EconLit - Examples of publications indexed in EconLit include: Accounting Review, Advances in Macroeconomics, African Finance Journal, American Economist, British Journal of Industrial Relations, Business Economics, Canadian Journal of Development Studies, Harvard Business Review, Journal of Applied Business Research, Marketing Science, Policy, Small Business Economics, Technology Analysis and Strategic Management, etc. EconLit records include abstracts of books, journal articles, and working papers published by the Cambridge University Press. These sources bring the total records available in the database to more than 735,000.

Global Road Warrior - a comprehensive business travel, telecommunications and business culture reference. It covers 175 countries, including key on the people, economy, work week, holidays, money, foreign exchange, visas, climate, passports, immunization, entry and departure, emergencies, internal travel information, country map, plus extensive information on business centers, and airports.

Lexis Nexis Academic Universe - Provides access to titles in news, business and legal information. It includes company financial information, industry and market news, foreign and U.S. newspapers, magazines and trade journals, and accounting information,  Examples of journals indexed in this database are:  Economic Geography, Journal of Industrial Economics and Review of Financial Economics.

MasterFILE Premier - (Ebsco) MasterFILE Premier provides full text for nearly 1,880 titles including the topics of business and accounting. Examples are: ABA Banking Journal, Accounting & Business Research, Business & Professional Ethics Journal, Financial Practice & Education, and Quarterly Review of Economics & Finance.

Mergent Online - databases contain key financial, fundamental and descriptive data for over 15,000 U.S. public companies, 20,000 non-U.S. public companies from over 100 countries, and 20,000 U.S. municipal entities, as well as extensive company analysis, corporate bond, unit investment trust, corporate actions, mutual fund and dividend information.

Mango Languages - includes 49 courses, 15 of which are English as a Second Language (ESL) courses.  Improve your conversation skills needed to successfully communicate and engage with local populations. Mango Languages also gives information about foreign culture.

OECD Library -  the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, the OECD's online library, gathers together in one place all the publications from the OECD and its Semi-Autonomous Bodies.

SciVerse (formally Science Direct) - This database is good for finding articles on business, management, and accounting.

Wiley Online Library - This scientific database includes journals in business, finance, and marketing.

World Bank - Provides download access to over 2,000 financial, business, health, economic and human development statistics from World Bank data sources
