American Horticultural Society - one of the oldest gardening organizations in the United States.

American Nursery and Landscape Association (ANLA) - the national voice of the nursery and landscape profession in the United States.

American Society for Horticultural Science - promotes scientific research and education in horticulture in the United States and in the world.

US Department of Agriculture National Plants Database - The PLANTS Database is a single source of standardized information about plants.
