Tarleton’s Public Relations & Event Management program operates an experiential laboratory called Legendary Weddings & Special Events™, founded in 2010. Legendary™ provide opportunities for Tarleton PREM students and interns to practice in the real world what they learn in the classroom. Student work is supervised by PREM faculty members and advanced students.
The mission of Legendary Weddings & Special Events™ is to provide each client a quality experience within budget, striving to make every occasion one that creates great memories for attendees and clients and great professional experience for PREM students.
The profit and nonprofit clients served by Legendary™ provide students pre-professional experience in event planning, coordination, and management. As students complete introductory PREM courses and progress through the program, their work with Legendary™ becomes increasingly challenging and allows them to prove their knowledge and skills before leaving the university.
Our Events
PREM students have performed so impressively that partner organizations are entrusting them with more and more of their event planning, management, and coordination. Through this program, we offer custom weddings and receptions and numerous other event related service. Legendary’s annual events include:

- Bygone Days on the Bosque
- Margarita Charity Ball for the Children’s Charities of Fort Worth
- Spring Festival, Fall Festival and BOOtanical for Clark Gardens Botanical Park
