Phi Epsilon Kappa

National Professional Honors Fraternity dedicated to advancing the interest of Health Physical Education on campus and in our community. 

Qualifications for being inducted into PEK:

• Exercise and Sports Studies major or minor
• Minimum of 12 hrs. in EXSS taken at Tarleton State University
• 3.2 overall GPA or 3.8 overall GPA in EXSS
• Pay National Dues
• Required participation in activities and fundraisers
• Trash pick up
• Attend meetings

During the spring semester, PEK inductions are held for new members.  This past spring, we inducted 65 new members!  HPE and PEK members actively participate in the Annual Fantastic Field Day.  At the conclusion of last year’s event, our members thought it would be fun to have a face tattoo booth for the children.  The group will purchase the tattoos for the children and help with the application process on March 31, 2008.
