Based on guidance from the A&M System Security Office and our review of the vulnerability, we recommend campus refrain from using Internet Explorer until Microsoft releases a security update.

Individuals using Internet Explorer versions 6 through 11
A vulnerability has been discovered in Internet Explorer (IE) browser that is being exploited to compromise computers. The campus community should refrain from using IE until Microsoft releases a security update. The Information Security Office will continue to monitor for and block known malicious websites.
What should I use instead of Microsoft’s Internet Explorer?
- Please use an alternate browser such as Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox until further notice
- To avoid opening email links in IE, please set one of the two browsers to be your default browser by using the following instructions:
