Graduation Updates- Spring 2013 Commencement

Commencement Photographer

Flash Photography will be taking graduation pictures at the commencement ceremony. Flash Photography will contact each graduation candidate by using the provided personal email address and regular mailing address with information on proofs and how to order their graduation pictures.  They will use the contact information you provided on the back of your name card (which you will fill out prior to the ceremony on graduation day).  Graduation candidates may contact Flash Photography at 817-924-2626.

Diplomas

Diplomas for May graduates will be printed and available for pickup in the Registrar's Office on June 17, 2013 through June 21, 2013.  All diplomas not picked up by 5:00 pm on June 21, 2013 will be mailed out to the address provided on the graduation application.  Students who have not received their diploma by July 15, 2013 should contact the Registrar's Office at 254-968-9233 or at hcarrigan@tarleton.edu.  Undergraduate students should notify the Registrar's Office immediately if the mailing address provided on the graduation application for your diploma to be mailed needs to be updated.  Graduate students please visit the College of Graduate Studies at www.tarleton.edu/graduate.  

Transcripts

Tarleton transcripts with the degree posted will be available June 10, 2013.  Students may order transcripts now and check the box "Hold for Degree Posting" and circle "Spring" on the transcript order form.  This will ensure the fastest delivery of your transcript.  Students may visit the Registrar's Office website to view the options available for ordering a transcript.

Transfer Work

Students who are completing course work at another university must have an official transcript sent to Tarleton immediately after grades are posted.  If the official transcript is not received by May 31, 2013, students run the risk of having their name removed from the graduation list.  Students who are removed from the graduation list will need to reapply for graduation for the following term.  Students may contact Heather Carrigan at 254-968-9233 or hcarrigan@tarleton.edu for additional information.
