Master's Hooding Ceremony
All Master’s Degree Candidates Graduating December 2011
The College of Graduate Studies and The Colleges of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences; Business Administration; Education; Liberal and Fine Arts, and Science and Technology formally invite you to participate in a Master's Hooding Ceremony honoring your achievement, that of earning your master’s degree from Tarleton State University.
(This is a separate event scheduled prior to the official Commencement Ceremony)
Hooding Ceremony Details:
Each College will host their own Master’s Hooding Ceremony at separate locations on campus prior to the official commencement ceremony in December. There are two hooding ceremonies scheduled on December 17, 2011. These are the following ceremony times and locations:
- December 17th at 9:00 A.M.
College of Agricultural & Environmental Science Joe W. Autry Agriculture Building, Room 113
College of Education Barry B. Thompson Student Center Ballrooms
College of Liberal & Fine Arts Clyde H. Wells Fine Arts Center (combined with COST)
College of Science & Technology Clyde H. Wells Fine Arts Center (combined with COLFA)
- December 17th at 2:30 P.M.
College of Business Administration Theater of the Clyde H. Wells Fine Arts Center (combined with COGS)
College of Graduate Studies (Liberal Studies) Theater of the Clyde H. Wells Fine Arts Center (combined with COBA)
Bring all regalia including your master’s hood. This is a time-honored tradition to signify your advancement in academic standing. Please invite family and friends to attend if you desire to have them present.
Remember, this is not the Commencement Ceremony. It is a separate opportunity to honor your academic achievement.
