Night at the Opera House

From the 1920's to the 1930's, Thurber's famous Opera House showed silent and black & white films. The Night at the Opera House is a free public program that features films shown during this time period. Films are shown in the W.K. Gordon's recreated Opera House located inside the museum. Past movies have included the 1933 Dracula, 1920 The Sheik, 1933 Alice in Wonderland and more!

Join the Gordon Center for a frightfully good time with our free screening of the 1935 classic, Bride of Frankenstein on Saturday, October 28, at 6:30pm. Featuring master of horror Boris Karloff as the monster, this film is guaranteed to get you in the Halloween spirit.  This event is free but seating is limited; reservations are recommended.
