Bring a date and celebrate springtme romance at our Night Out at the Opera House featuring the 1930 romance drama, Morocco on Saturday, February 22th at 6:00 PM. The film tells of a cabaret singer and a Legionnaire who fall in love. This free public program will begin at 6:00 PM and seating is limited. All Children must be accompanied by an adult.
A 600 seat opera house once stood in downtown Thurber. During the 1920's and 1930's, the Opera House began showing films. The W.K. Gordon Center Night Out at the Opera House program features silent and black and white films from this time period. Films are shown in the W.K. Gordon Center's recreated Opera House.
