Texan Orientation
If you have received an orientation brochure, you are eligible to register for orientation at this time. Visit Ducktrax to register for Texan Orientation.
You and your family are invited to attend Tarleton State University’s Texan Orientation! Tarleton offers several orientation conferences designed to meet the needs of our students. During Orientation you will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with an academic advisor, pre-register for classes and become familiar with Tarleton’s services, facilities and traditions.
Requirements
As a first-time freshman/transfer student with less than 30 hours attending Tarleton State University during the Fall 2010 semester, you are required to attend Texan Orientation. You are required to successfully complete Texan Orientation prior to registering for Fall classes.
Invitation Check List
- Apply through the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, (254) 968-9125 and be fully admitted to the university.
- Contact Residential Living and Learning, (254) 968-9083, to clear housing status.
- Send TSI (Texas Success Initiative) scores or proof of TSI exemption as soon as possible.
- Send high school transcript and any prior college transcript to Office of Undergraduate Admissions prior to orientation.
Students who meet these requirements will automatically be mailed an invitation beginning May 15, 2010.
