Orientation Information

If you have registered for an orientation session, check in for both students and parents will be held from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm in the Thompson Student Center Ballrooms on the first day of the session.

All students must present a photo ID in order to receive a Texan Card (student ID).

Housing Accommodations

accomModations for students:

All students are encouraged to stay on campus during Texan Orientation. As a reminder, students who plan to stay on campus will be charged an additional $25.00 fee.  Students will be housed in Centennial Hall during Texan Orientation. Centennial Hall is a three story, air conditioned, private bath facility.

What to bring:

• Bedding items including linens to fit a twin bed, pillow, pillow case, blanket

• Personal items including shampoo, soap, toiletries, towels, alarm clock, pens/pencils, and camera

• Comfortable clothes

• Extra money for vending machines, Tarleton apparel, emergencies, etc.

Note: Orientation housing assignments are not an indication of fall housing assignments.

Accommodations for parents:

If you choose to stay in town overnight, there are a number of hotels with 50 or more rooms available in Stephenville to accommodate your housing needs. Guests are responsible for making arrangements for off campus accommodations if needed.
