Alcohol Education

Alcohol Education at Tarleton:

It's no surprise that students are exposed to alcohol very early in their college experience, and those who make wise choices are academically more successful. At Tarleton, we confront problems associated with alcohol use and abuse proactively and take great pride in providing programs and services to help your child be successful as a student.

You will be confronted with difficult choices about the use of alcohol, and we want you to be informed.

Therefore, we require all new students to complete AlcoholEdu. The online AlcoholEdu course is provided at no charge to you. The course has two parts and requires approximately four hours to complete. The majority of students who complete the course are very positive about the experience. To learn more about the course, please visit the AlcoholEdu Web site at www.outsidetheclassroom.com.

You will receive more information regarding course start dates, log in information, and deadlines during orientation. However, if you have any questions, please contact Daron Trussell, Assistant Director of Recreational Sports at (254) 968-0761.
