Will I have to come to campus for a residency?
No degree requires a residency. However, several of the degrees offered do require a visit to campus to propose and defend your thesis, or to take the comprehensive exam at the end of the degree. Check with your advisor to find out if your program requires any campus visits.
What skills do I need to take an online course?
Basic computer skills are needed to complete an online degree program. A student must also possess excellent organization, time management, and independent study skills in order to be successful in an online degree program.

Where do I buy my books?
You may order your books online from the Tarleton Bookstore (http://tarleton.bncollege.com). Textbooks purchased from the Tarleton bookstore can be shipped directly to you.
How do I drop a class?
It is the student's responsibility to drop a course. Every student must submit a Q-Drop Request Form, signed by an advisor to the Registrar's Office. For detailed instructions on how to drop a course and to download a form, please visit http://www.tarleton.edu/registrar/QDROPS.html.
Where do I graduate?
We would love to have you be a part of the graduation ceremony in order to celebrate your great achievement. Graduation ceremonies take place at the Stephenville campus. Check the University calendar for graduation dates.
