Program Summary

The Bachelor of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology is a “2 plus 2” degree program administered completely online through Blackboard 9.1 learning management system.  The BAS in Veterinary Technology is engineered for students interested in animal health and a career in veterinary or biomedical science. It is designed to elevate your credentials and excel in meeting professional challenges within veterinary medicine through three clinical concentrations. Degree candidates are prepared for professional diversification and employment in a wider range of related industries in advanced clinical, educational, research, and management settings.

Designed For

Students with an Associates’ degree in Veterinary Technology from an AVMA-CVTEA accredited program.  Veterinary technician professionals wanting career advancement opportunities associated with a bachelor’s degree.

120 Hour
Program

The BAS requires 120 credit hours to complete the degree. This includes transferred credit hours of coursework, including core requirements.

Estimated Time of Completion

The BAS in Veterinary Technology may be completed in as little as 24 months with full-time enrollment.
