Duck Camp provides students with the opportunity to make the transition from high school to college much easier by meeting new friends, learning the rich heritage and traditions of Tarleton, and just plain ol' having fun!

The Cost
The cost for Duck Camp 2010 is $135 per camper. This price will include three days and two nights at camp, meals, an official Duck Camp t-shirt, bus service to and from camp, as well as some other special treats.
What to Bring
Campers need to bring several changes of cool, comfortable clothes suitable for an August day in Texas, comfortable shoes for outdoor activities, and a swimsuit (for those interested in water activities). Students are also asked to provide their own toiletries, towels, bed linens and/or sleeping bag, and a pillow. In addition to these items you might also want to bring a hat or something to block the summer sun, sun screen, insect repellent, a flashlight, and a GREAT POSITIVE ATTITUDE!!
What "Not" to Bring
Please leave all cellular phones and paging devices at home! Emergency phones are available.
Fun Night!
At the end of each camp day, we will bring all the Duck Campers together to let loose and have fun at the planned late night activities. Movies, dances, and water activities will keep you entertained throughout the night. Above all else, the only thing you absolutely must bring is a smile and a willingness to have some FUN!
Application and Fees
The applications for Duck Camp 2010 are based upon a first come, first serve basis. Due to its increasing popularity, space is limited and you don't want to miss out on all of the fun, so we encourage you to stay tuned for registration dates so you can reserve your spot as soon as possible. In order to attend Duck Camp, you must be registered for the Fall 2010 Semester before the camp begins and must attend one of the Texan Orientation sessions.
