Group Leaders
Responsibilities
- Engage and foster relationships with 12 to 15 students during each camp through team building activities and interactive discussions
- Inform and promote opportunities for campus involvement that would be specific to the individual needs of the student
- Attend all required training and staff meetings
- Assist in promoting Duck Camp at new student events such as Texan Tour and/or Texan Orientation
- Participate and assist with Texan 2 Texan / candle lighting
- Work 2 hours in the Duck Camp office during a scheduled time period
Qualifications
- Cumulative GPA of 2.25 or higher
- Completion of Alcohol Edu
- Awareness of Tarleton traditions, landmarks and history
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of a variety of campus involvement opportunities
- Positive attitude and the ability to work effective with a partner
Expectations
- Ability to pay your own way for camp experience. Cost for group leaders is $100 per person.
