Unit 8 explained the necessity of evaluating potential research materials and offered specific criteria to use when evaluating books, articles, and Internet resources. The following activities give you practice in evaluating resources.

1)  Select one of the articles retrieved when completing the learning activities for Unit 7.
2)  Briefly evaluate this article based on purpose & audience, authority, accuracy & reliability, objectivity, currency, and coverage.
3)  Answer these questions:
-- Based on your evaluation, would you use this article in a research project?
-- Why?
4)  Locate an Internet resource that discusses business ethics.
5)  Briefly evaluate this site based on purpose & audience, authority, accuracy & reliability, objectivity, currency, and coverage.
6)  Answer these questions:
-- Based on your evaluation, would you use information from this site in a research paper?
-- Why?
