Other Special Events:
National Coference in Jacksonville, Florida, November 4 - 6. DMD wants student and honorary members, alumni, faculty advisers and their guests to attend the event held at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront Hotel. The temes of the coference is "Building and Excellent DMD Chapter." Sessions will focus on organizing successful chapter events and acdtvities, becoming a great faculty adviser, succession planning, job hunting and career development for DMD students. The conference will feature great speakers who are outstanding entrepreneurs and organizational managers. Mr. David Raby, President of STI, Electronics, Inc., and Steve Cook, formerly at NASA, have already agreed to be part of the program, and other speakers from the Jacksonville business community will join them. There will be a "meet and greet" cruise for Friday evening. Jacksonville has a number of attractions: Amelia Island, Jacksonville Zoo, the Museum of Contemporary Arts and the riverfront.
