Professional Reading Specialist

Designed For

Professionals who already have a Master's degree seek expertise in reading.  Classes are available online and hybrid to accommodate the working professional.

Your Future

Reading Specialist work collaboratively with classroom teachers.  They also plan and deliver instruction to meet the needs of individuals with reading difficulties.

  • Valid Texas Teaching Certificate
  • Two years classroom teaching
  • EDUC 3320 Professional Development 1: Understanding Learners or ENGL 3370 An Introduction to Linguistics or PSYC 3320 Psycholinguistics
