Scholarship Application for New Students
New students enrolling in any summer term are eligible to receive a scholarship of up to $1,000! Just apply for university admission (www.applytexas.org) and submit the completed scholarship application above to the Tarleton-Central Texas Financial Aid Office by June 2, 2008.

The Tarleton State University Office of Scholarships is committed to providing assistance to students in pursuit of their education.

Scholarships are awarded for academic ability and achievement, demonstrated leadership, extracurricular activities, financial need, and other criteria as defined by specific scholarship programs.

Any student receiving institutional scholarships valued at $4,000 or more is generally not eligible for other institutional scholarships.

The following scholarships are available only to students pursuing studies at Tarleton-Central Texas:

• Hal Myrah Memorial Endowed Scholarship
• Lt. General H.G. "Pete" Taylor Endowed Scholarship
• Bob and Karin Alleman Endowed Scholarship
• Florence and Tolly Moore Endowed Scholarship
• Congressman Chet and Lea Ann Edwards Endowed Scholarship
• John and Elizabeth Cheatham Endowed Scholarship
• Continuing Student Incentive Scholarship
• Greater Texas Foundation Endowed Scholarship
• Frank and Sue Mayborn Endowed Scholarship
• FWIS Ruth Hooper Memorial Endowed Scholarship
• Friends of Tarleton-Central Texas Endowed Scholarship
• Central Texas College/Tarleton-Central Texas Endowed Scholarship
• FWIS Warrior's Endowed Scholarship

IMPORTANT DEADLINES:

For priority consideration, scholarship applications must be submitted by February 15 (for the fall semester and academic year) and December 1 (for the spring semester only).

After these dates, scholarships will be awarded based on the availability of funds.

Scholarship applications are accepted throughout the year, but the priority deadline is FEBRUARY 15. Students who submit applications by February 15 (for the fall semester) do not have to submit applications for the spring or summer semesters.
